College...?! Where'd summer (and high school) go?!

Well, it's now September. And with September (actually, with the end of August) came college. How astounding. Today was my second day of classes, though it hardly seems as though it counts. Yesterday I had five; today I had one. My schedule is fun! But I, for now, have free time. I anticipate it quietly vanishing, but hey! Right now I have it, so I'm posting in my blog!

Anyway, with my temporary free time, I have decided to work on beginning a webcomic. For real this time. Sadly, I have no idea what to make a webcomic ON. Ah well. I have a very vague idea, consisting, at the moment, of a hand and foot. No, really. That's what I drew. SO I have a beginning. Not much, but it's a start. Now I'm trying to decide where I should put this potential webcomic on the vast internet. I think adding it to this blog would be a bad idea... but you never know. But don't worry my potentially nonexistant readers! As soon as I figure it out I shall announce it on this wonderfully real-yet-solely-digital blog!

Back to college things: My school gave me a laptop as part of my financial aid. It's a Thinkpad, and despite what a little, untruthful sticker says, it runs windows vista ultimate. It's sitting next to my Macbook as I type this, and I must say they make for quite a contrast. Vista... Well, I prefer Macs, and not just because their operating systems are named after cats! Though it's not entirely unusable... and does have one distinct advantage... X11 doesn't like Wacom tablets, so gimp never worked right on my Macbook. Now it does! (which explains the renewed webcomic plans.) I spent most of today making my newer laptop work in ways I prefer it to, which mostly involved downloading an awful lot of freeware. But that is what freeware's for!

So, back to my usual rant... I might actually update more! Hooray! From both laptops, even! But then again, I've said this before. Sorta. So we'll see! (I still haven't decided on a theme for this or anything. Besides promising to update more and lamenting my lack of readers, which doesn't seem like a good thing to base a blog on.

Hmm... 2009... August... Oops

Well, that whole 'post something more often' idea went out the widow... Obviously. But hey, no one reads this anyway, right? Yet again, I have decided to fix this! Perhaps this time I shall succeed! Instead of talking solely about how much I wish I updated more often and/or had readers I shall speak of informative things! I'm not sure what as of now, but I'll figure it out sometime soon! I'm sure!

Like books! I could talk about books!

In fact, I probably will. Books and other things. After all, the name is intentionally vague. But at the moment I don't feel like saying much of anything, so you, my imaginary reader, will just have to wait and see!
